Thor Set Top Boxes are tested to work with our modulators, and support decoding of both video codecs.  These units can decode both MPEG-2 or H.264 without the need to change any settings.  This allows programs output by a Thor Modulator using the more dense H.264 to be viewed on displays that do not support this format, as well as legacy non digital TV’s.  You can also use this STB to display Digital TV on computer monitors and other display systems without tuners.
